Event Info

Doors open at 3:45pm. 

The Rotunda Processional will be begin at 4:00pm and Opening Convocation will begin at 4:30pm. Guests are asked to be seated by 4:00pm.

Parking

Guests needing parking are encouraged to direct their GPS to the event parking, rather than McFarlin's address, for the most seamless experience. Guest parking is provided at the following locations.

Daniel Parking Center: 3330 Daniel Avenue.

Binkley Parking Center: 3105 Binkley Avenue.

Airline Parking Center: 6506 Airline Court.

Ride share drop off point is located at the corner of University Blvd and Boaz Lane.

  

Permitted & Prohibited items

Permitted
  • Binoculars
  • Bags or soft packs 12" x  6" x 12" or smaller
  • All personal possessions must fit under the patron's designated seat
Prohibited
  • Outside food
  • Strollers or Stroller Car Seat Combo
  • Personal property that is a potential hazard to others (e.g., chains, wallet chains or jewelry with spiked edges)
  • Weapons or items construed as weapons (e.g., guns, knives, sticks, fireworks)
  • Balloons of any kinds
  • McFarlin Auditorium is a smoke-free venue. This includes vapes, Juuls, and all e-cigarette devices. In addition, smoking is prohibited within twenty-five (25) feet of any entrance to building.
