Bio

Rose Hurwitz is a PhD student in the Cultural Anthropology program. Her dissertation research examines how sports infrastructure innovation shapes—and is shaped by—understandings of politics identity, resilience, and environment. 

Hurwitz is the coordinator of the 2025-2026 Caroline B. Brettell Seminars in Anthropology.
