Lillian "Lily" Derr
Lillian “Lily” Derr, a Dallas, Texas native, is a Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas where she recently published with Tower Center Fellow Mark Wynne. Lily previously worked as a consultant for the George W. Bush Presidential Center’s Economic Growth Initiative and as an Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Fellow at the Commercial Diplomacy Initiative at SMU Cox. Lily graduated from SMU with a double major in mathematics and political science, and minors in environmental engineering and public policy and international affairs through the Tower Scholars Program. Lily was a Tower Scholar, a Dedman College Scholar, a Pre-Law Scholar, a Grand Challenges Scholar, a Provost Scholar, a Millwee Scholar, a Discovery Scholar, an Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Research Assistant, and an Engaged Learning Fellow at SMU where she served as the Student Representative to the SMU Board of Trustees on the Academic Policy, Planning, & Management Committee. She also served as President of the University Honors Program Student Advisory Council and Student Representative on the Faculty Advisory Council. She was also the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Representative on the President's Commission on the Status of Women at SMU.
