Women's Programs

Women's Symposium
The Symposium is the longest continuously running program of its nature in the country and one of SMU’s oldest and most distinguished traditions. The annual Symposium is held every March and is planned by a student group, CORE. CORE is open to any and all students who are committed to empowering and uplifting women in community, and spend the Fall semester planning the Symposium. The Symposium honors community members and SMU staff/faculty members who go above and beyond in supporting women on campus and beyond.
